Step 2: Study Who Wins Today and Why

For each question, note which brands appear and, where visible, which sources are cited. You will often see patterns: the same comparison article, the same directory, the same review site. Step 3: Close the Gaps

• Missing from a key list? Check whether the publisher accepts updates or reviews new products, and make an honest case.
• Weak description? Make your own site state clearly who you serve, what you do and how you differ.
• No dedicated content? Publish a focused page for each use case, with specifics.
• Inconsistent facts? Align pricing, features and locations across your site, listings and profiles.

Step 4: Expand Gradually

When you appear regularly for your first group of questions, move to neighbouring ones: a new city, a new customer type, a related feature. Each expansion follows the same cycle. This is slower than a promised takeover, but it builds on itself.

A simple way to measure progress

Run each question several times per assistant every month and record whether you appear, where you appear in the list, and whether the description is correct. Divide mentions by total runs to get your share. A rising share across a quarter tells you more than any single screenshot, and it shows which questions still need work.
