The short answer

A good international AI visibility service tracks how assistants describe your brand in each market and language, finds the gaps, and helps you publish content and earn mentions that fix them. It should be clear about what it measures and honest that no provider can guarantee a mention in any country.

What the service should actually do

Before comparing prices, make sure you understand the work. A credible provider covers four things:

  • Prompt tracking per market. A buyer in Germany asks “beste Buchhaltungssoftware für Freiberufler”, a buyer in the UK asks “best accounting software for freelancers”. The answers differ, so each needs tracking.
  • Competitor mapping. Your main rival in Spain may not be your main rival in Canada. You need to see who appears in each market.
  • Content creation in the right language. Not machine-translated copies, but pages that answer what local buyers ask.
  • Distribution. Getting accurate information onto the sites assistants read, such as local directories, review platforms and industry publications.

Questions to ask any provider

  1. Which assistants do you check, and how often? At minimum ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Copilot. Ask how results are recorded so you can see changes over time.
  2. Do you test prompts in local languages? If the answer is “we translate English prompts”, ask how they handle phrases locals actually use.
  3. Who writes the content? Native-level writing matters. A clumsy French page will not be trusted by readers, and it is less likely to be quoted.
  4. What do you need from us? Accurate pricing, product details and local contact information usually have to come from you.
  5. How do you report? Look for a clear view of which prompts mention you, in which market, and how that changes month to month.
  6. Can we cancel? Long lock-in contracts for a field this new are a risk.

Warning signs

Walk away from any provider that promises a guaranteed position in ChatGPT, claims to be an official partner of OpenAI, Google or another AI company, or offers to “insert” your brand into AI training data. None of these are possible to sell honestly. AI answers come from training data and live web results, and visibility is earned through content, mentions, consistent facts and technical access. Be equally careful with anyone offering bulk forum posts or paid reviews across countries. Those tactics break platform rules and can damage trust in every market at once. Our page on free versus paid approaches explains what money can and cannot buy.

Budget and scope

Start with your two or three most important markets rather than every country at once. Prove that the process works, then expand. A small export business might begin with its home market and one neighbouring country. A software company might start with English and one other major language.

A simple way to compare providers

Ask two or three providers to show you a sample report for one market you know well. You will quickly see whether their prompts sound like real buyers, whether they record cited sources, and whether their advice is specific to that country or generic. A provider that cannot explain why a result appeared is unlikely to help you change it. Also ask how they handle markets where your brand name means something else in the local language, since that can confuse assistants.
